A New YOU

Making and Achieving Your New Year’s Resolutions

  • Opt on only one resolution. Pick only one and put the blinders on. Make the goal clear, measurable, and as if it already happened; i.e., I am so happy that I lost 30 pounds by the end of the year and kept it off.
  • Give yourself a reasonable time frame to complete your goal. You have the whole year to complete it! You didn’t gain weight overnight nor will you lose 30 pounds in one day.
  • Tell family and friends what you are doing and ask for their support. This will provide some solid leverage to the goal that you choose. You need your support team to assist you in difficult times .
  • Use positive affirmations daily. You need to put positive vibes into your universe so you can build up your self-esteem. Remember that you BECOME what YOU THINK ABOUT.
  • Write a list of the positive things that will happen if you achieve your goal; i.e., I will have so much extra energy to accomplish the most important things in my life when I lose 30 pounds. Use pleasure to motivate you!
  • Write a list of negative things that will happen if you DON’T achieve your goal; I won’t be able to go to that 20-year reunion and enjoy the company of my alums because I am too self-conscious about being my appearance. Use pain to motivate you!
  • Visualize yourself in detail after you have achieved your goal and feel good about yourself. Wow, I’m chisel! Check out my pecs, biceps and six-pack abs. I’m a mean, lean fighting machine!

I have included some additional motivation by Tony Robbins. CLICK HERE to check out his latest VIDEO on New Year’s Resolutions.

Happy New Year and Congrats on ACHIEVING that New Year’s Goal !!!
