  • Why build a rapport first and use this to explode your team?
  • How to ask the proper questions at the proper times to prompt people to reveal their needs?
  • What does F.O.R.M. stand for?
  • Relate their needs into one of your testimonials.
  • How to set the appointment?

Reflect and Learn

reflect-and-learn

Einstein stated, “Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.”

Reflect and Learn

Ah, if life were nothing but victories! Everyone makes mistakes by the boat load, you in particular. Confident people somehow learn along the way that mistakes need not drag them down.

They don’t dwell on them. They regard them as lessons, life lessons, that give them insights that they perhaps did not have before.

Practice Boldness

boldness

Billie Jean King once said, “Be bold. If you’re going to make an error, make a doozy, and don’t be afraid to hit the ball.”

Practice Boldness

I’m not asking you to engage in dangerous behavior, be foolhardy, or be reckless. However, I want you to engage in one act of boldness per week as part of your overall strategy for becoming more self-confident.

Boldness here means undertaking some deliberate action that involves attempting more than you usually comfortably attempt.

For example, maybe you can head up that fund drive for your church or community group, even though you’ve never done anything like that before.

False Emotions Appearing Real

False Emotions Appearing Real

I don’t need to tell you that the economy has hit a rough patch.

The media has seized upon this story, and the negativity around this is everywhere- just turn on your television for a few minutes as evidence.

What really bothers me about this is that once people start expecting the worst to happen, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Remember that thoughts become things and I don’t want to fuel that negative fire any more. Worry is a prayer for what you don’t want.

Positive Affirmations

Positive affirmations do work.

An affirmation can help you replace a negative thought with a more helpful positive one.

Without realizing it you tell yourself negative things constantly.

This is called negative self talk.

What it Takes to be Great

Entrepreneur, Market America, mdaras.com, Personal Development, Positive Mental Attitude

Research now shows that the lack of natural talent is irrelevant to great success. The secret? Painful and demanding practice and hard work

By Geoffrey Colvin, senior editor-at-large

(Fortune Magazine) — What makes Tiger Woods great? What made Berkshire Hathaway (Charts) Chairman Warren Buffett the world’s premier investor? We think we know: Each was a natural who came into the world with a gift for doing exactly what he ended up doing. As Buffett told Fortune not long ago, he was “wired at birth to allocate capital.” It’s a one-in-a-million thing. You’ve got it – or you don’t.

Talk with Empowering Language

empowering-language

Suppose you’re in a phone conversation with someone else and they make a request of you.

Instead of saying, “I’ll have to get that file, make copies, and fax them to you.”

If you were to say, “I’ll be happy to get that file…,” what would you imagine the impact would be on your psyche, your inner being?

Would you feel better about your job, the request that’s been made of you, and your ability to fulfill it?

Chances are, you would.

In fact, in one study, office workers who used self-empowering language such as:
