CLA was first identified in 1978. Dr. Michael Pariza was studying beef extract at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as part of his cancer research. What he found was unexpected. Dr. Pariza’s initial research suggested two important possibilities. First, that CLA helps reduce body fat, and second, that it helps maintain lean muscle tissue. - Give yourself a reasonable time frame to complete your goal. You have the whole year to complete it! You didn’t gain weight overnight nor will you lose 30 pounds in one day.
