GetREAL 21-Day Challenge
The start of the New Year brings a whole new set of resolutions. I just stumbled across this challenge from RealAge on Facebook and thought I’d share it with you.
Just weighed in today and I’m ready to take some serious action. Count me in!
Calculated that I want to lose about 24% of my current weight. Hey, why not swing for the fences? If I fall a little short, it will still be all good.
What is the GetREAL 21-Day Challenge?
You’ve probably seen TV shows where Drs. Oz and Roizen do interventions. They help individuals and families kick-start their way to wellness by purging their houses of bad foods and motivating them to get back into a healthy way of living through a complete LIFESTYLE CHANGE.
Well . . . THIS IS YOUR LIFESTYLE INTERVENTION!
We have taken 21 key factors (habits you can — and should — control) from the RealAge Test and created a Complete 21-Day Lifestyle Intervention you can do for YOU!
It is not going to be easy! In fact, it may be some of the toughest work you’ll ever do. I’m not talking just physical — think mental AND personal!
Remember, this is a complete lifestyle overhaul.
For 21 days — every weekday (no, you don’t get weekends off; consider them maintenance days) — you will receive an assignment. These to-dos are new habits you are to adopt as your very own. From that day on, you will continue to do this new habit . . . forever.
So on Day 1, first assignment/habit; Day 2, your first day’s assignment/habit PLUS your second day’s assignment/habit; and so on.
By Day 21, you will have adopted 21 healthy habits to carry with you throughout life, LOWER your RealAge, and help you reach your personal fitness and wellness goals — whatever they may be.
